On admitting defeat

I know, I am supposed to be gone from this space.  But, wow, I am having a hard time figuring out the new one.  I just can't seem to get it to do what I want.  So, here I am....still, and a little sheepishly.
And it seems that although I should be sewing and felting and sewing some more to get ready for the Farmer's Market, all I can muster is knitting and reading - two very lovely past-times.  So I am going with it.
I am knitting Idlewood with the idea that it may be ready by fall.  As the pictures show, I am knitting both inside and out - I love that about this season.
And with my Hazel we are steadily reading our way through the Little House on the Prairie series.
An inadvertent Yarn-along post it seems to be today.

  1. Inadvertent, but lovely :) My daughter and son both love the Little House Series- I even borrowed the TV show from the library and now they are watching!

  2. I loved the Little House series, but eldest daughter can't get into it. Maybe second daughter will!

  3. We are big Little House fans here too, the show and the books. I am knitting everywhere too althought it's a little too hot here now to knit with wool.
    Have a happy day!

  4. how fun to be able to take your knitting with you inside and out. Looking beautiful so far.
    Enjoy the sunshine.

  5. You are moving to wordpress, right? It has a learning curve, but it's easy once you get it figured out.

Oh my goodness I have to make that very sweater for fall as well. It is gorgeous and exactly what I've been thinking that I needed. Thanks for making this post or I never would have found it.

    Enjoy your knitting and reading!

  6. Oh I just love reading the Little House books - would love to see what your market booth set up will look like - we are working ours out now and will share once we have it figured out.
