Not sure where I am headed with this.
Sometimes I am like that, act first think second.
Who is this person?
It is a tricky thing to sum oneself up in a few words or less.
Especially someone like myself, who feels like I am still very much a work in progress.
My focus in the now revolves around my kids...all are at various stages in becoming the women they will be.
Sometimes, during the rare moments of genuine peace and quiet, I make things. Things for them, for me, my partner, our home.
Not exactly a few words or less....but as with me, at least a start.
Especially someone like myself, who feels like I am still very much a work in progress.

ReplyDeleteI was just saying today that this ought to be illegal. Today I had to go downstairs into the (relatively) cooler basement, just to make a decision. Otherwise my brain just stops working. Doesn't 102 degrees sound impressive?
Guh uh-uh mmmm nope aaaaaah... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :) Wrong day for my once-a-year golf tournament. I melted.
ReplyDeleteUNREAL isn't it?? I can't remember it ever being this hot! This afternoon I was talking to my cousin who relocated from Niagara Falls to Arizona, a couple of years ago. Was telling her how I had a whole new respect for her level of tolerance!
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that people go on holiday to places as hot as it was here today. We spent the morning at a lake, and the afternoon/evening at a pool...now, at 10:30 pm there's a breeze blowing through the window and I'm PRAYING that tomorrow brings some relief from this ridiculous heat...even our chickens are panting!!

ReplyDeleteOh, we're in the middle of this heatwave too. Hope it passes soon. The only good thing? My laundry dries more quickly.

ReplyDeleteOh my! So strange that in the western part of Canada we are having such cool weather compared to our usual (although yesterday was lovely) and you're having such heat. Hope you're finding enjoyable ways to keep cool.
