I love it when I catch my kids playing with toys I've made for them...and want to secretly hustle away all the craptastic plastic toys that gather in a home with small children...the day is coming! We used to make these corn-husk dolls when I was a kid...must try them again with my own children! Have a lovely weekend.
some of my favorite photos are those where we don't see the child's face head on... it forces us to grasp the other senses and body language - so powerful and poignant, especially in little ones.
Not sure where I am headed with this.
Sometimes I am like that, act first think second.
Who is this person?
It is a tricky thing to sum oneself up in a few words or less. Especially someone like myself, who feels like I am still very much a work in progress. My focus in the now revolves around my kids...all are at various stages in becoming the women they will be. Sometimes, during the rare moments of genuine peace and quiet, I make things. Things for them, for me, my partner, our home. Not exactly a few words or less....but as with me, at least a start.
love your moment of 'quiet play'... the lighting is wonderful
